Morning Rituals

Every morning, waking up to the snoozing of 3 alarms...excluding my room mate's (a.k.a my soul mate, partner in crime, a wonderful Papa Bear to my two little demanding baby bears & my dear husband) 4th alarm, to be able to get the cozy warm duvet off my body and exposing my dry skin to the icy cold wind of the air-condition...the first jolt to my medula oblongata seems surreal. That would wake me up by now and the process is less than 120 seconds.
And so, my daily morning ritual begins. First, heading downstairs to making milk for my 3 years 3 months young little queen of the house. This would normally take up to approximately 120 seconds.
Heading back to the bedroom where both our little king and queen is soundly asleep, i will sneak under the covers to get my feet warmed up again. Subsequently, re-position my little queen to have her head higher so that she doesn't aspirates when her milk bottle is being placed into her little mouth. She automatically knows when i carry her slightly higher, the next thing would be to open her mouth for the milk bottle teat to be placed into her mouth....all these with her eyes closed all along (face-palm).
After finishing her milk, or at times leaving an ounce or more (depending on her mood that day), she would then turn back to find her new nappy and continue where she left her sweet sweet dreams.
My little king would be still snoring at this hour while my king would be half asleep going in and out of his own dreams due to his own alarm going off earlier.
I will then march religiously into the bathroom for my showers and suit up before starting my day (similar to any other regular days). This ritual has been in place since our two little angels came into this big world. I would never have done things differently....
